Demo: IREX Facial Spoofing Detection for Access Control and Public Safety

Today IREX updated its Ethical AI video analytics portfolio with a new anti-spoofing technology to prevent false facial identification by using a photo, video, mask or a different substitute for an authorized person’s face.

The new neural network detects the following types of attacks:

  • Photos and videos on mobile devices
  • Printed photos
  • Face reflections

Once a facial spoofing attack is detected IREX sends alerts to the control room along with the video evidence and locations of the incident. Integrated access control systems can automatically lock the door to prevent authorized access.
